On a beautiful Fall day in October, I had so much fun getting together with friends to set up a gorgeous Autumn tea party in the
Pelican Courtyard, which is located behind our
Seaside Gallery & Goods Collective. It's a charming space to host events, and it's also where I teach my
block-printing classes.
Gathering together our talents and resources, we created this gorgeous table-scape, as well as a separate table for tea. Claudia Reese of
Ciao Newport Beach styled everything beautifully with a little assistance from Crystal and me. On the round table we used my Holland tablecloth and Betty napkins. All the china & glassware belong to Claudia. Crystal, of
Studio C Florals, created the incredible flower arrangements which complimented the linens and china perfectly. The cute menu on the pumpkin, as well as the name tags, were created by Kristen of
Inkchanted.
The separate little table set-up for tea was embellished with my Doodle Berry cocktail napkins in pinks, reds, and coral colors, along with the Doodle Berry pillows on the sofa. The pink teapot and cups are part of Claudia's very large collection of china and table accoutrements. Many of the accessories we used throughout were culled from our Seaside Gallery & Goods Collective. And again, the pretty flowers in a white teapot are by Crystal.
The best part was sitting down afterwards with friends to enjoy tea, fruit tarts and cake, admiring our creation, and basking in the beauty of a Fall day.
